This week we discussed the idea of starting a group library and preparing for a camping trip. Jared would like for us to do boy scout activities on the trip, such as rope bridge creation, foraging, and knot tying as a means of emergency preparedness.

The most significant part of the meeting was discussing the absence of missed group member, Arachelle, who did not attend today due to a number of reasons, one of which was not feeling heard during meetings. We discussed organizational changes to rectify this, including adding times to agenda points and standing during meetings instead of sitting, in order to encourage breakaway groups. We also re-clarified the purpose and desired direction of the group as a place to talk about ourselves and plan and perform based on that, and not just a place to talk about the external world. Refocusing our purpose will likely have the largest impact in the quality of the organization. We greatly miss Arachelle.

Thank you to everyone who attended this week.
