The park clean up was very successful. We cleaned lots of trash, and the majority of what we saw was gone by the time we were done.
We did start about an hour late, and there was no kickball since there were so few of us and we didn’t really have any time afterwards. Our highlight was the time we spent connecting and discussing. At one point, all three of us moved a large tree limb to form a precarious bridge over a trench of water, and later, we discussed Darren’s motivation, his thoughts on relationships, and the two members’ religious beliefs.
Overall, it was a very fun event, in which each of us took something away from it, and some trash from the city park. Below can be found pictures of such items we found, and the size of our haul.
